Hey Everyone! I hope you're staying safe and finding fun ways to be creative while under this quarantine. Often when someone sees an awesome photo or video of mine, their feedback is "Wow, your camera is amazing!". It's easy to attribute an artist's quality to their equipment but not their skill :(

But the most expensive equipment is not needed to produce great content. It' more important to know WHY and HOW your camera works, the limits of your current gear, how to still a story, and how to compose a compelling shot.

My main camera is a Canon 5D Mark IV, but to prove that an artist can produce great content without breaking the bank, I challenged myself to film a real estate video tour of my home using ONLY an iPhone and a DJI Osmo Mobile 3.

All I did was change all the sensitivity settings on the Osmo to low so it didn't respond to every little movement I made, used an app called ProCam to manually control the settings of my iPhone camera sensor, and filmed at 4K 60 fps. I edited my video in Adobe Premiere Pro as I would a professional job.

Stay tuned for part 2 of this video, where I'll cover my settings, filming, and thoughts on the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 in detail. Please like and subscribe, and let me know what you think in the comments.
